30 Day BL Drama Challenge – [Day 19]
Day 19 prompt: BL drama that was better than you expected. This one was easy to decide and my choice is Trapped from HIStory 3. Trapped is a story about a cop and a gangster and so right away I did not have high hopes or any expectations. Cops and gangsters and crime lords and anything similar are things that I am simply not interested in. Day 18 prompt: BL drama that was a major let down. This was easy for me because the very first thing that came to mind was all the En of Love episodes. Idk what I was expecting with this drama but what we got was just….not it. I feel like all three storylines were badly written and badly acted. Day 17 prompt: Favorite Kiss! Out of all the prompts so far, this was by far the easiest for me to choose. My all time favorite kiss is the Kongpob and Arthit rooftop kiss from SOTUS The Series season 1. There are just so many things about this kiss that make me squeal and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Day 16 prompt: Favorite BL drama parent. This one was actually a bit difficult for me to choose because of the BL dramas I have seen, parents don’t play huge role unless they are an antagonist to the story. For example: Fighter’s dad in Why R U or Xiang Hao Ting’s dad in Make Our Days Count or the horrible human being that was Tae Joo’s dad in Where Your Eyes Linger. Day 14 prompt: Least favorite BL drama trope. Without a doubt, my least favorite trope has to be rape and cheating. I have no idea why so many BL dramas choose to take this route and create a “romance” from it but it’s really not my thing. I hate it so much. There are many dramas where a guy will already have a girlfriend but then discover that he likes guys.
