    [Review] Color Rush

Welcome back to another series review. This time I am reviewing another Korean BL mini-series named Color Rush. Before I jump right into it, I want to give a fair warning. If you plan on watching this on the viki app, DO NOT READ THE SYNOPSIS ON VIKI! The summary that is listed is straight up false advertising and since I read the synopsis first before watching, it has greatly impacted my feelings for the series as a whole because I did not get what was advertised to me. So, here is MY summary of the show. Synopsis Yeon Woo is a Mono. Someone that has a neurological color blindness…

    Why R U: Saifah & Zon Story

OMG YOU GUUUUYYYSSSS!!!! It’s finally happening!! Saifah and Zon are finally getting their story told and I can’t freakin wait! The trailer for their show premiered just 14 hours ago and kudos to the creators for having English subtitles already embedded in the video for the international fans! 😀 I have been away from social media and all things BL since my last post but then I log in today for the first time, and this is what I see? Omg I am so happy. If you are not new to my WHY R U reviews then it should be kinda obvious that Saifah and Zon were my favorite couple…

    [Mr. Heart] Episode 1 Recap

Hello! And welcome back to my recaps. I’ve been gone for a while and the times that I was posting in the past, I was literally posting random ish that you probably don’t even care about lol. But I’ve started watching a new drama and I want to share my thoughts with you guys. If you are new to my recaps, I literally just talk about what happened in the episode, share my thoughts, and award arbitrary points to whatever the heck I feel like giving points to. I might be dating myself with that gif but I used to love watching that show with my dad when I was…

30 Day BL Drama Challenge – [Day 16]

Day 16 prompt: Favorite BL drama parent. This one was actually a bit difficult for me to choose because of the BL dramas I have seen, parents don’t play huge role unless they are an antagonist to the story. For example: Fighter’s dad in Why R U or Xiang Hao Ting’s dad in Make Our Days Count or the horrible human being that was Tae Joo’s dad in Where Your Eyes Linger. So I really had to think about this and decided to choose two parents. 1) Pete’s dad from Dark Blue Kiss I liked Pete’s dad because he was patient, understanding, and completely accepting of Pete’s sexuality. Like, it…

30 Day BL Drama Challenge – [Day 15]

Day 15 prompt: Favorite BL drama trope. HATE TO LOVE! I don’t even know why but I liiiivvveeee for this trope. Especially when it’s done right. And for the record, no, TharnType did not do this trope justice and I don’t care if you disagree lol. It’s my personal opinion. Dramas that actually did a good job with this trope: SOTUS The Series Why R U The Series Dark Blue Kiss Make Our Days Count My Bromance (the movie) These are actually some of my favorite couples and you can read my post on all my faves here. As more and more films and series come out, I’m sure I…

30 Day BL Drama Challenge – [Day 14]

Day 14 prompt: Least favorite BL drama trope. Without a doubt, my least favorite trope has to be rape and cheating. I have no idea why so many BL dramas choose to take this route and create a “romance” from it but it’s really not my thing. I hate it so much. There are many dramas where a guy will already have a girlfriend but then discover that he likes guys. So he cheats on his girlfriend with said guy and we’re supposed to feel all warm in fuzzy inside because it’s BL… Ummm…..NO. Cheating is wrong no matter who is doing it. Unless you are in an agreed upon…

30 Day BL Drama Challenge – [Day 12]

Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I can’t really say that mine was too relaxing but I’m ready to continue on with this 30-day challenge (which is taking waaayyy longer than 30 days, but who cares lol). The prompt for day 12 is: BL drama that you last finished. And that is……….The Moment Since! The sequel to The Moment: I Need You by Star Hunter Studios. This was a super cute and fluffy drama that I wouldn’t mind watching again. I’m not even sure this can be considered an actual drama because there really was no drama. Just goofy shenanigans that led to a beautiful beginning of…

30 Day BL Drama Challenge – [Day 11]

Day 11 prompt: Favorite Cast. Without question, my favorite cast of all time is the SOTUS cast!! I know, I know. Y’all are probably sick and tired of me screaming about SOTUS The Series but I can’t help it. It is seriously my favorite and it’s already been four years since I’ve watched the first season lol. I love the cast members of both seasons because not only are they great and growing actors/actresses, they seem like fun people off-screen as well. From behind the scenes videos and photos, they seem to get along well and know how to have fun together. Every time I see any one of them,…

30 Day BL Drama Challenge – [Day 10]

Day 10 prompt: Best Character Development Oookkkkaayyy. This is a big one and right away quite a few different characters popped into my head to choose for this. The very first person that came to my mind was Arthit from SOTUS The Series. Arthit definitely grew as a character in SOTUS season 1, but his growth is best viewed as a whole across both seasons of SOTUS as well as the Our Skyy episode. Viewing his growth that way definitely puts Arthit at the top of my list for best character development. But I feel like this prompt is asking for development across one season or show, and not three…

30 Day BL Drama Challenge – [Day 7]

Hello again! Today’s prompt for the 30 Day BL Drama Challenge is: Best Friendship. Friend groups aren’t really something that’s highlighted in BL in my opinion. A character might have a couple friends but their character arcs generally stay in the background. But a group of friends that stood out to me from all the dramas that I have seen is the friend group from HIStory 3: Make Our Days Count. I liked this ragtag group of friends because they were actually really hilarious. Even though they could sometimes get on my nerves and be a bunch of immature boys, I liked how loyal and supportive they are of the…
