    [Review] Our Dating Sim

Finally! Another good BL coming out of Korea. This series was super sweet and left me feeling so happy and nostalgic. For this review I will be using the online screen names of the main characters since that is what they were going by in the show. Lee Wan and Shin Ki Tae are best friends. At school, they are almost inseparable and are always to be found hanging out together outside the classroom. Lee Wan is also attracted to Shin Ki Tae, and wants to start a romantic relationship with him. One day, Lee Wan confesses his feelings to his friend, who is stunned by this. The duo parts…

    [Review] Individual Circumstances

Ha Yeon Woo was once the toast of Chungmuro – Seoul, South Korea’s answer to America’s Hollywood. As a maverick young movie director, his debut film was a massive hit for both filmgoers and critics alike. But after this auspicious start, he fell into a lengthy slump. He is now listless and unsure if he is really cut out to be a top movie director after all. One day, he meets Sung Woo Jae, a famous fiction writer who he once knew – but has not spoken to for some time. Sung Woo Jae also has demons, however. His first love ended in sadness, and he took solace in his…

Han Ji Yoo works in the marketing team of an alcohol-producing company named Pai Syn Tang Liquors. He is exuberant and loves drinking and eating, and his busy social life reflects this. One day, his team is charged with finding an up-and-coming chef to partner with to help promote the company. The team settles on Park Ki Hoon, the handsome and talented chef at a wildly popular restaurant. However, there’s a big catch: Park Ki Hoon hates alcohol! He refuses to sell alcoholic beverages in his restaurant, and even kicks out customers who try to smuggle liquor into the eatery! When Han Ji Yoo arrives at Park Ki Hoon’s restaurant…

    [Review] Semantic Error

If you are someone that watches kdramas or BL series, then I am sure that you have heard of Semantic Error. It has gotten so much buzz and so much hype recently that I decided to give it a try. I had no idea what to expect and I honestly don’t even remember what the synopsis was. But I watched it and I had a laughing good time. So, let’s get into it! Characters In this series we have two guys. Jae Young who is a senior and ready to graduate. He’s popular, good looking, confident, and now that he’s a senior, he feels he’s done all his hard work…

    [Review] Behind Cut

Even though I did not have high hopes for this drama, I was still disappointed in this series as I’m sure you can tell by my initial gif. I went in with zero expectations, which is more than I can say for Kissable Lips – I had low expectations for that one but was greatly surprised. Unfortunately for Behind Cut, I was let down. *As always, there will be spoilers* Onto the summary! This series is about two guys. Gi Jin aspires to be a famous fashion designer while Yeong Woo is a part-time delivery man who has no idea what he wants to do with his life. Gi Jin…

    [Review] Tinted With You

When it comes to Korean dramas, there seems to be a lot of love triangles thrown in the mix. Not that I’ve seen an abundance of k-dramas or anything like that (I’ve only seen a handful of mini series), but when I read the synopsis of many of the full length ones, most include some kind of love triangle which makes me not want to watch them. In Tinted With You, there is indeed a love triangle despite – once again – the synopsis on Viki NOT alluding to it. I think I’m just gonna have to stop reading the synopses on Viki because in my experience, they are rarely…

    [Review] The Tasty Florida

Hey guys! Welcome back to another series review. I found this series randomly on VIKI a couple nights ago, as of writing this, and it sounded like it could be cute, so I gave it a try. I didn’t have any expectations really because when it comes to BL, Korea has never really been a country with great or memorable BL stories to begin with. The series is only 8 episodes and each episode is between 10 and 12 minutes long which doesn’t really give much development time. For anyone that hasn’t heard of this series, or simply hasn’t watched it yet, here is a summary in my own words…

    [Mr. Heart] Episode 1 Recap

Hello! And welcome back to my recaps. I’ve been gone for a while and the times that I was posting in the past, I was literally posting random ish that you probably don’t even care about lol. But I’ve started watching a new drama and I want to share my thoughts with you guys. If you are new to my recaps, I literally just talk about what happened in the episode, share my thoughts, and award arbitrary points to whatever the heck I feel like giving points to. I might be dating myself with that gif but I used to love watching that show with my dad when I was…

Bitter about Monsta X: My Very Unpopular Opinion About NO.MERCY

So a while back I was watching Monsta X videos and cracking up laughing at their ‘Monsta X-Ray’ show they have on YouTube. I really think they are funny guys and great on camera. I first heard of the group by my brother because he likes them so I wanted to check them out. In doing so, I found out that they were created through one of those survival competition shows called No.Mercy so I wanted to watch it just to start from the beginning and really get to know the guys. Well to keep a long story short, like….I’m super bitter about the outcome of the show???? I thought I…
