If you are someone that watches kdramas or BL series, then I am sure that you have heard of Semantic Error. It has gotten so much buzz and so much hype recently that I decided to give it a try. I had no idea what to expect and I honestly don’t even remember what the synopsis was. But I watched it and I had a laughing good time. So, let’s get into it! Characters In this series we have two guys. Jae Young who is a senior and ready to graduate. He’s popular, good looking, confident, and now that he’s a senior, he feels he’s done all his hard work…

[Review] Behind Cut
Even though I did not have high hopes for this drama, I was still disappointed in this series as I’m sure you can tell by my initial gif. I went in with zero expectations, which is more than I can say for Kissable Lips – I had low expectations for that one but was greatly surprised. Unfortunately for Behind Cut, I was let down. *As always, there will be spoilers* Onto the summary! This series is about two guys. Gi Jin aspires to be a famous fashion designer while Yeong Woo is a part-time delivery man who has no idea what he wants to do with his life. Gi Jin…

[Review] Kissable Lips
Wow. Okay. So, I had no idea what I was getting into with this drama, and I will be honest and admit that my expectations were low. When I say low, I mean loooooowwww chile lol. The premise and synopsis did absolutely nothing to sell me on this story. Vampires? Purebloods? Seriously? I mean, I’m down for a supernatural, paranormal romp in the park, but something about this story synopsis just wasn’t doing it for me. However! I was happily surprised by this drama! I was way more invested than I ever thought I would be, and I found myself rooting for Mr. Vampire and his newfound love. This story…

[Review] Tinted With You
When it comes to Korean dramas, there seems to be a lot of love triangles thrown in the mix. Not that I’ve seen an abundance of k-dramas or anything like that (I’ve only seen a handful of mini series), but when I read the synopsis of many of the full length ones, most include some kind of love triangle which makes me not want to watch them. In Tinted With You, there is indeed a love triangle despite – once again – the synopsis on Viki NOT alluding to it. I think I’m just gonna have to stop reading the synopses on Viki because in my experience, they are rarely…

[Review] The Tasty Florida
Hey guys! Welcome back to another series review. I found this series randomly on VIKI a couple nights ago, as of writing this, and it sounded like it could be cute, so I gave it a try. I didn’t have any expectations really because when it comes to BL, Korea has never really been a country with great or memorable BL stories to begin with. The series is only 8 episodes and each episode is between 10 and 12 minutes long which doesn’t really give much development time. For anyone that hasn’t heard of this series, or simply hasn’t watched it yet, here is a summary in my own words…

[Review] Where Your Eyes Linger
Han Tae Joo is an 18-year-old high school student and is the sole heir of the TB Group – a family-run business conglomerate. His strict father keeps him under surveillance 24 hours a day, and he feels both bored and oppressed by his reluctance to let him enjoy a little freedom. His closest friend is also his unofficial bodyguard – another 18-year-old male student named Gang Gook. Gang Gook is something of a tough guy, with a powerful physique and a no-nonsense attitude. But as the two young men grow older, they come to wonder if there is perhaps another dimension to their friendship. When an outgoing female student named…

[Review] EN of Love – This Is Love Story
Hello everyone! Sorry for being so inconsistent with my blog lately. I’m not even going to attempt to explain because I’m sure you don’t care and I honestly don’t feel like sharing my personal business lol. So! Moving on. I finally finished the EN of Love series and sheeeesshhh, I feel like I have a lot to say, yet not a lot to say lol. This Is Love Story follows a high school student named Praram (who is also the younger brother of Tossakarn from the very first series) and a guy named Neua from the faculty of engineering. Neua is known for being a playboy but for whatever reason,…

[Review] Yuri!! On Ice
Yuri On Ice is my very first sports manga and I have to say that I quite enjoyed it. I wasn’t expecting to be as invested in the show as I was but this show had a way of pulling at the heart strings when it mattered. That could very well be because I am a former athlete and even though I competed in a different sport, I could relate to a lot of the feelings that the characters went through. Yuri On Ice focuses on three main characters, Yuri (age 23, from Japan), Yuri (age 15, from Russia; we will call him Yurio for the sake of confusion), and…

[The Stranded] Episode 7 – The Finale
So I finally finished this darn series and this was my face by the time the ending credits rolled, What frikken type of ending was that?? It seriously feels like the series was cut in half just to see how well it will do, then call the second half “season 2”. I FEEL BAMBOOZLED! I’VE BEEN SWINDLED! Thats’s 7 episodes of 45-50 minutes a piece of my life that I won’t get back! I had a feeling this series was going to end on a cliffhanger and boy was I right. I should have stopped after the first few episodes. In this episode, absolutely everything goes to shit. Everyone turns…

[Review] EN of Love – Love Mechanics
Love Mechanics is the second mini series to come out of the EN of Love universe. This story follows Mark and Vee. Mark is a young engineering student who is finally getting over being rejected by a guy that he liked, named Bar (from the first series). One night at the club, he gets so wasted that he thinks one of his engineering seniors named Vee is Bar and starts whining at him to please like him and kiss him. Vee tries to tell him that he is not Bar and that he should just get over Bar and move on. But Mark is too drunk to think straight and…
