[Our Skyy] Episode 5 – Kongpob & Arthit

I’ve finally watched the last episode of Our Skyy. It’s the finale of the Our Skyy episodes as well as the offical end of SOTUS. This was by far the perfect ending to the SOTUS universe for me. I wasn’t sure if this episode was going to be corny like the others or not. It turns out, this episode touched on something that is actually quite serious in relationships and one that I can personally relate to. In this episode, it is year 4 of their relationship and Kongpob has graduated from university. He has also applied for a scholarship to study abroad in China (for graduate school, I believe).…

    [Sotus S] Episode 13 – The Finale

Right off the bat, we are picking up where episode 12 left off. It’s the end of the party and people are going home now. People are still reeling from Arthit’s revelation but everyone is very nice about it. Arthit even went so far as to admit to everyone that he was fearful when the picture went around so he tried to hide his real feelings. But really all he was doing was hurting the person he loved. And yes he used the word LOVE! Arthit’s big reveal got P’Yong thinking and so when the party is over, he runs out after Nai who is waiting for his taxi. You…

    [Sotus S] Episode 12

We are coming upon the end, friends! Only one more episode of Sotus S after this and then we are finished 🙁 Episode 12 was a little difficult to watch at first. Even with all the rumors and gossip going around about them now because of the picture, I just wanted to slap some sense into Arthit! Lots of people around the company are talking about the photo of Kongpob and Arthtit. Some people think it’s cute, while others are in shock. But something that stuck out to me and really made me smile was how supportive and unchanging P’Earth and Tod are about the whole thing. Earth talks to…

    [Dark Blue Kiss] Episode 5

Where do I even start. A lot happened in this episode of Dark Blue Kiss, but yet, nothing happened..? Does that even make any sense? Lol. I will try and keep this review short instead of recounting every single thing that happened. Pete & Kao Pete and Kao have their cute moments but then they also annoy me too. This series is really highlighting their faults and the things that are unappealing about them. For instance, Pete and his temper. He is too hotheaded. He reacts according to his emotions first and asks questions later. While I can understand his jealousy, he needs to take a look at the bigger…

    [Sotus S] Episode 11

Episode 11 picks up right where episode 10 leaves off, with Kongpob and P’Danai finishing up the phone call with the new supplier. And it turns out I was right. Kongpob called his father and asked if his company will produce the rest of the materials. Tod asks if he can be the one to go and meet with the new supplier because he wants to take responsibility. Arthtit asks to go along too and P’Danai agrees. While there, everything goes well and the new supplier is happy to help. But as Arthit is leaving, he sees a large family photo on the wall and guess who’s in the photo?…

[Review] HIStory 3 – Make Our Days Count

Hello everyone. So just like on my last HIStory review, I’m going to start off with a brief summary about what HIStory is. For any of you not familiar with the HIStory series, it is a series created by Choco TV from Taiwan who I think is now going by Choco Media Entertainment. Every story is an LGBTQ story with the focus being BL. They are currently on the third season. Each season contains two to three different shows. The first season has three different series of four episodes each. The second season contains two different series of eight episodes each. And this third season will have three different series…

    [The Stranded] Episode 1

The Stranded is a new Netflix series from Thailand that aired last month. I’m usually not one to take an interest in shows or movies with kids trapped on an island. I was traumatized from watching Lord of The Flies back in high school so I swore off of such films, series, and books. But I wanted to give this show a try because the filming budget looked like a huge upgrade from the Thai dramas I have been watching. Also, a few actors and actresses that I recognized are in this show and I wanted to see them. Perth, Mark, Jan, and Beam. At only 7 episodes in total,…

[Our Skyy] Episode 4 – Pete & Kao

Just like with all of my other reviews for Our Skyy, this review will contain spoilers. So far out of the four Our Skyy episodes that I have seen, this was by far the silliest of the bunch. The whole time I was either laughing or rolling my eyes at just how dumb and silly things were. In this episode, Kao runs into an old lady that predicts that he will run into a stroke of bad luck and many things in his life will go awry including his relationship. She writes down a list of things he needs to complete in order to dodge the bad luck. After this,…

    [Movie Review] Formula 17

Formula 17 is a gay romantic comedy, coming of age story that was released back in 2004 or 2005. I’m not entirely sure which year it was because everywhere I check says one or the other. Either way, it was released in the early 2000s. I see this movie recommended in the BL movie lists online so I decided to give it a try. The film follows a 17 year old boy named Tien who left his small town for the big city of Taipei to meet his online “boyfriend”. Tien is a hopeless romantic and believes that he is going to meet the love of his life and stands…
