    [Review] The Moment Since

The second season of The Moment I Need You has been released and I’m happy to have finally watched it! I’ve been waiting for it ever since the first season ended and it did not disappoint. This season is called The Moment Since. And can I just say how much I actually love that title?? It’s literally perfect because in this season, our two main characters are meeting again after a long time but both still have feelings for each other since they first met. I’m not sure how much time has passed from last season to this season though, so I wish that had been clearer. In this season,…

    [Review] Where Your Eyes Linger

Han Tae Joo is an 18-year-old high school student and is the sole heir of the TB Group – a family-run business conglomerate. His strict father keeps him under surveillance 24 hours a day, and he feels both bored and oppressed by his reluctance to let him enjoy a little freedom. His closest friend is also his unofficial bodyguard – another 18-year-old male student named Gang Gook. Gang Gook is something of a tough guy, with a powerful physique and a no-nonsense attitude. But as the two young men grow older, they come to wonder if there is perhaps another dimension to their friendship. When an outgoing female student named…

[Review] EN of Love – This Is Love Story

Hello everyone! Sorry for being so inconsistent with my blog lately. I’m not even going to attempt to explain because I’m sure you don’t care and I honestly don’t feel like sharing my personal business lol. So! Moving on. I finally finished the EN of Love series and sheeeesshhh, I feel like I have a lot to say, yet not a lot to say lol. This Is Love Story follows a high school student named Praram (who is also the younger brother of Tossakarn from the very first series) and a guy named Neua from the faculty of engineering. Neua is known for being a playboy but for whatever reason,…

    [Review] Yuri!! On Ice

Yuri On Ice is my very first sports manga and I have to say that I quite enjoyed it. I wasn’t expecting to be as invested in the show as I was but this show had a way of pulling at the heart strings when it mattered. That could very well be because I am a former athlete and even though I competed in a different sport, I could relate to a lot of the feelings that the characters went through. Yuri On Ice focuses on three main characters, Yuri (age 23, from Japan), Yuri (age 15, from Russia; we will call him Yurio for the sake of confusion), and…

[The Stranded] Episode 7 – The Finale

So I finally finished this darn series and this was my face by the time the ending credits rolled, What frikken type of ending was that?? It seriously feels like the series was cut in half just to see how well it will do, then call the second half “season 2”. I FEEL BAMBOOZLED! I’VE BEEN SWINDLED! Thats’s 7 episodes of 45-50 minutes a piece of my life that I won’t get back! I had a feeling this series was going to end on a cliffhanger and boy was I right. I should have stopped after the first few episodes. In this episode, absolutely everything goes to shit. Everyone turns…

    [The Stranded] Episode 6

Okay, so what… the actual… frik… I have absolutely noooooo idea what the heck is going on anymore in this show. The past five episodes have been eerie but still interesting. There is a mystery about this island that I was trying to solve; there’s moral grayness among all the characters; And lastly, I’m hopful these kids will get the heck off this darn island. However! Episode 6 took a wild turn and now this show is just freakin weird. Nothing makes sense anymore and absolutely nothing is tying together. It seems like the writers tried to pump up the thriller aspect of the show because creepy and strange things…

[Review] EN of Love – Love Mechanics

Love Mechanics is the second mini series to come out of the EN of Love universe. This story follows Mark and Vee. Mark is a young engineering student who is finally getting over being rejected by a guy that he liked, named Bar (from the first series). One night at the club, he gets so wasted that he thinks one of his engineering seniors named Vee is Bar and starts whining at him to please like him and kiss him. Vee tries to tell him that he is not Bar and that he should just get over Bar and move on. But Mark is too drunk to think straight and…

[Review] EN of Love – Tossara

I won’t lie, I had no idea what this show was before watching it. I didn’t read a single summary online nor did I pay attention to any reviews. But wow, I sure wish I had lol. What intrigued me the most about the EN of love series is that these were all actors that I had never seen before (or at least, I just didn’t recognize them), and that this was a three-part series of four episodes each, focusing on different couples. It was giving me HIStory vibes so I decided to give it a try. Tossara is the first of three mini series to come out of En…

    [The Stranded] Episode 5

Ohhhhh boy. As if things couldn’t get any more intense than they already are. Sheesh, where do I even start? It’s the same people from the last episode getting screen time in this episode. So, I guess I will just write in the same format I did for my last review. Ice Ice is doing so much better now after his little “exorcism” from Nahm. He is helping build the boat and sail and hasn’t gone back to drinking and smoking. Probably because he is no longer trying to drown out hidden guilt and torment. He’s smiling and interacting with the other students. I wouldn’t say he actually has any…

    [Theory of Love] Episode 3

So just like I feared, things between Third and Khai were too good to be true. Third is all moved in with Khai and they have become very comfortable. I mean, they are already close friends, but now that they live together they are pretty much acting just like a married couple. Khai buys all the stuff for the apartment while Third does all the cooking and cleaning. Super domestic and whatnot. I new something was up when Khai said he wasn’t going to date around anymore. I mentioned that he kinda put all the blame on the types of girls he was dating but completely ignored the fact that…
