[Review] HIStory 5: Love in the Future

This review is going to be so short because honestly…I don’t really know what to rate this. This series started off with a lot of potential but went downhill the more episodes I watched. It wasn’t good, but it wasn’t necessarily bad either. It was just overwhelmingly mid, and I find that sooo disappointing. Idk what has been going on with HIStory these last few years, but I have not been impressed with what HIStory has been dishing out these past two releases. I liked HIStory 1 (not including Obsessed), enjoyed HIStory 2, absolutely adored HIStory 3. But then HIStory 4 came along and I hated that one so much.…

    [Review] My Love Mix-up!

Hello and welcome back to another review. I will keep this review brief as I do not have too much to say about it. For longer than he’d care to admit, Sota Aoki has had a crush on his classmate Mio Hashimoto. Sitting next to her in class every day, Aoki wishes he could find a way to tell her how he feels, but something keeps holding him back. Despite being unable to confess his feelings, he’s at least able to talk to her about other, simpler things. He’s even occasionally borrowed school supplies from her, which is why he didn’t think twice about asking to borrow an eraser from…

[Rant Review] HIStory 4 – Close to You

I watched this series back at the end 2021. I wasn’t going to write a review for this series because I hated it so much. But after seeing this series still be so highly rated with so many people completely ignoring or downright dismissing the disturbing content in this series has pissed me off all over again. So, here is my rant review. This series was disturbing. I have been watching HIStory from the very beginning when HIStory 1 first started airing in 2017. This one was by far, the worst for me. Even Obsessed from season 1 didn’t make me this upset because at least with that one, we…

    [Review] All The Liquors

Han Ji Yoo works in the marketing team of an alcohol-producing company named Pai Syn Tang Liquors. He is exuberant and loves drinking and eating, and his busy social life reflects this. One day, his team is charged with finding an up-and-coming chef to partner with to help promote the company. The team settles on Park Ki Hoon, the handsome and talented chef at a wildly popular restaurant. However, there’s a big catch: Park Ki Hoon hates alcohol! He refuses to sell alcoholic beverages in his restaurant, and even kicks out customers who try to smuggle liquor into the eatery! When Han Ji Yoo arrives at Park Ki Hoon’s restaurant…

    [Review] Takara-kun & Amagi-Kun

Hello and welcome back to my blog! This review is going to be super brief and not in my usual thorough style. So, let’s jump right into it. Takara is stoic and cold but popular amongst the students at his school. Girls from all grade levels find themselves attracted to him, but he refuses every single one and not always in the kindest ways. Amagi is not popular by any means, but is generally well-liked amongst his classmates. Always happy and looking on the bright side of things, Amagi just wants to finish high school with his friends, graduate on time, and have fun while doing it. Both Takara and…

    [Review] My Beautiful Man S1

Wooooow. Woow wowww. Hello! Lol, idk if anyone even still reads this blog anymore. It’s been a year and 2 months since I have updated and let me tell you, I did not watch a single drama during all that time. Life just be life-ing sometimes and that’s all I’m gonna say about that. So! Let’s get back into the swing of things, shall we? Seventeen-year-old Hira, who is at the bottom of the class, tries to remain invisible at school, never wanting to open his mouth and expose his stuttering speech to his classmates. He views the world through his camera lens, detached, until one day, Kiyoi Sou walks…

    [Paint With Love] Episode 3

Hello hello! This episode review won’t be very long because I don’t really have a lot to say. Most of the episode felt like filler although we did get a little more back story on Maze and Neung’s past relationship. In this episode, Maze’s company is starting a new project called ‘Total Men’ and he wants to work with another company for it. After they present the idea to the other company, the company CEO agrees to it and lets them know that they already have a spokesperson in mind, who will serve as the face of the brand, and who has already signed a two-year contract with them. It…

    [Review] Semantic Error

If you are someone that watches kdramas or BL series, then I am sure that you have heard of Semantic Error. It has gotten so much buzz and so much hype recently that I decided to give it a try. I had no idea what to expect and I honestly don’t even remember what the synopsis was. But I watched it and I had a laughing good time. So, let’s get into it! Characters In this series we have two guys. Jae Young who is a senior and ready to graduate. He’s popular, good looking, confident, and now that he’s a senior, he feels he’s done all his hard work…

    [Review] Behind Cut

Even though I did not have high hopes for this drama, I was still disappointed in this series as I’m sure you can tell by my initial gif. I went in with zero expectations, which is more than I can say for Kissable Lips – I had low expectations for that one but was greatly surprised. Unfortunately for Behind Cut, I was let down. *As always, there will be spoilers* Onto the summary! This series is about two guys. Gi Jin aspires to be a famous fashion designer while Yeong Woo is a part-time delivery man who has no idea what he wants to do with his life. Gi Jin…

Check Out the series Official Teaser

Okay so, what the actual frick. Lollllll this teaser left me with sooooo many questions and so many thoughts yet no thoughts at all. I can’t even really voice everything I feel right now. Like…this trailer was so intense! This was absolutely NOT what I was expecting. After watching episode 0 for this series, I thought this was going to be a cute and fluffy romance between grown men. I mean, sure, their relationship started with a one night stand, but they seemed to really want to get to know each other by the end of it and the episode ended in a fairly cute way. I was down for…
